For me it was today. Now I look forward to the corrosion tear down on both my f250s. Going to do the whole enchilada on both of them plus some other part replacements since I'm in there. This was my 8th season with approx 500 hours or so on them. No issues to date and they really have been flawless.
I had them scoped in the spring and it is happening. Hopefully this preventative maintenance will give me 8 more. Will post some pics.

I was hoping to get one more albacore trip in from the Oregon coast, but it looks as if the storms are lining up, 17' seas today with closed bars up and down the coast. I really need one more salty trip.

The weather is changing here so I'm going to give it one last weekend Blackfishing and then give it the last major cleaning before bringing it up to CT and pulling it next week. It's been a fun season though, I always hate to see it end.

:hmm I guess I'm just going to have to make do with my Motorcycle, and Reservoir Row Boat, and Hunting Season and then Ski season until April comes around again!

I am a native Floridian who moved to the mountains. While I enjoy fall in the Smokies, it signifies the end of boating. I miss that about Florida. Now I wait for spring and a trip to the sunshine state to chase dolphin.

Boat mostly in the LIS in CT - fat lady sings shortly after tog season closes. Will haul out mid December and winterize engine and boat over xmas and new years. Cover for 2 months and try to launch again in mid-March.

I'm figuring on mid December as well. The fall striper run is just starting and that is what I bought the boat for.
As long as I'm catching fish, the boat will be ready to go.
