Sel, wrote a great post about what music yall like on the wayout. While many of us love to fish, we also have families and families like to play. So where is your favorite swimming hole you take your Grady?

Mine in no particular order....

Lake Fontana, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Hazel and Eagle Creek coves
Silver Glenn Springs, Ocala National Forest on the St. Johns River
Key Largo - John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park
Cape San Blas - St. Joe Bay, Florida.

Maybe this year I will learn how to post small pics on the website of these great places.....[/img]

Silver Glen is a good one....or more likely "was" a good one. Its been 5 years or so since I've been there, but I understand they are now limiting the ability of boaters to anchor in there due to environmental concerns.

I'd add Crab Island, at the mouth of East Pass - where Choctawhatchee Bay meets Destin and the Gulf. Beautiful water, and beautiful scenery.

Elliott Key

Elliott Key, on the bayside, just north of the campground. Water's very clear and flat, protected from SE winds by mangroves.
