Yeah i was thinking that as a last resort. I've seen alot of grady's of the era with a freshwater setup like that on i pictured

Have you ever seen a "tiptoe" pump? I know that they exist, but I've never used one so I can't speak from experience. But, they're basically a flush mount head that then "pops" out. You might be able to (if it's not too long) mount it in that vertical section of the gunwale. I'm not sure what you're main purpose is to install a freshwater pump, but this might be something to at least take a look at.

It's just nice to have some freshwater on board esp when fishing in saltwater. It will basically be used for washing the deck and hands. I'm installing a 33 gallon water tank

I don't see the part you are talking about in the picture I can see.
Th Grady gunnel mount fresh water system is made by Scanvik and consists of several of the parts in this link

if you find the grady part post it up. i need to replace mine as my housing is cracked and i cannot find one the same size. in fact, if you can just find the enclosure i would be happy to send you the original grady faucet and control. i do not see the need for them and would prefer to convert the enclosure to storage by adding a fiddle. a washdown hose seems perfectly adequate.

Can't argue with that! 33 gallons? That's pretty big - might as well put in a HWH so you can take a shower!!!

I just googled that toe faucet thingy to take a better look at it - it might be a nice option. Flush and out of the way when not in use. It's around 6.5" long, though - don't know if there's enough width under the gunwale for it.

As far as the electric galley pump goes, check out Jabsco and Whale regarding manufacturers. I'm sure there are others - those are the first two (besides Scandvik) I can think of.

I'm installing the water tank in the spot were the aux fuel tank would go. I've been searching the web and ebay. basically i can buy a 33 gallon tank off ebay for less money then i can buy a 10 gallon tank from the marine stores
