Greetings - Unfortunately, I am having to replace the starboard windshield 1/2 on my 2004 300 Marlin. - Very long story but I've created a mold to get the bend right and my thickness options for polycarbonate or acrylic are 1/4" or 3/8" thick. I cleaned up the shattered glass so well, I don't have any leftover.
What thickness do you think the existing glass was???

As said look at the frame or other side. Probably 1/4".

Glass guy I spoke to and canvas companies have been using acrylic instead of polycarbonate. Acrylic won't yellow as fast from UV damage. Acrylic can be heat formed as well. But its not as "bulletproof".
