Windshield wiper knob/valve leaking

I was running in from fishing the other day and felt water dropping on my foot. Turns out my fresh water windshield wiper knob/valve is leaking. Anybody ever deal with this? Im wondering if there is a washer in there and you can take it apart and fix or if I just need a new one. Any help would be appreciated.

i had the same problem when my son puuled the knob off. i just pushed it back in and put a screw in the hole to keep it in place no leaks since. hope it works for you
