Over the winter I noticed that the tension springs for my windshield wipers had corroded and fallen off.

Just curious before I get into it and try to take them apart. :hmm

Is it possible to replace just the spring or do I need to replace the whole arm? If I need to replace the whole arm is it just a press fit on the spline? any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
VC

I don't khow where you would find springs. You probably need to replace the arm. My arms are pressed on.

I contacted Grady a few weeks back about my mine (265) I thought I had it tracked down to AFI Marine Parts, turns out it was made by Diesel Equipment in NC, (http://www.dieselequipment.com/getCategory.aspx?catID=3) I contacted thier service rep, he was prompt and has all the parts I need to totally rebuild my broken wiper motor and renew the arm assembly.

Its ironic, thats one of the main little "nit picky" things I wanted on my next boat (besides all the big stuff from going to a WA from a CC) and that was the one thing that didnt work!!!

Good Luck
