I'm located in the northeast but will travel for the right boat.

I prefer something w/o bottom paint as I will be trailering.
 
Check Craigs List...im just south of Boston and have seen a couple of things pop up.

Coming up for sale in 3 weeks. You may consider: 2007 Grady White 209 Escape, used in the fresh water of Lake Michigan and Shasta Lake (California). I had in Saltwater once! Has only 205 hours on it's original 200hp Yamaha 4-stroke. Factory T- Top (w/ rod holders and storage), factory cushions (like new), complete custom bow cushion pkg, Isinglass encloser, live well, saltwater wash down, drivers dual leaning post w/tackle storage, transom ladder w/step, hydraulic steering, hydraulic trim tabs, dual batteries with Perko switch, 9.9hp Yamaha kicker (new only 1-hour) w/ electric start and tilt, kicker mounted on new-custom aluminum fixed bracket powder-coated to match, NEW-custom galvanized Pacific twin axle trailer with extended tongue and side boards, new- Garmin GMR 18XHD radar on custom aluminum arch mount, Garmin 7400/7600 GPS Map with sounder w/ side scan. Furuno GPS, Auto pilot, Standard VHF w- Galaxy antenna, 2-Scotty electric downriggers (like new), Boat has never been moored, always stored indoor when not in use. Includes anchor w/rope, tie down ropes and 3 inflatable life vests, all books and manuals (AND MUCH MORE). The boat, motor and all equipment has been meticulously maintained. SHOWS LIKE NEW! Thanks everyone. I’m kind of focussed on getting something with the 2011-2017 layout.

There is a 2016 2 hours from me listed through a dealer (brokered) but is bottom painted and only has a 150. I attempted to go look at it at the dealer and when I leaned it was brokered and another hour away.
 
Happy New Year (bump) I'm still looking.

The ideal boat is 2016-2017 209 with T-Top and bench-seat livewell, 200 HP Yamaha, and no bottom paint. Open to travel up to 1k+ miles from the northeast.

Would certainly entertain anything from 2011-2017 but would still prefer a 200 and no bottom paint.

I would not ignore a priced right, well cared-for older 209 either though.
 
Thanks. Yes, I’ve been looking on BT as well as other sites, Craigslist, and even Facebook marketplace (even though I am banned).
 
I’m still looking. If you have a 209 that you are considering selling, please let me know. Again, I’d prefer a 2016-2017 or even 2011-2017. I would even consider any year depending on the overall condition and outboard.

Thanks. Yes, I saw that one and was interested, until I saw mention of “new bottom paint not seen in pictures”. If it were priced better, I would be willing to overlook it having bottom paint. I can see this being of value to the right buyer, but not for me.

Another option that you might consider would be moving up in size to a slightly larger boat that is more readily available... as it seems like the 209 Fisherman in the years that you're looking for and without bottom paint is almost like spotting a unicorn.

Thanks. Yes, I think the issue is that there are not a lot of Grady options before weight and cost go up too much and IME, your are more likely to find bottom paint on bigger boats, at least in the Northeast. Otherwise, I’d love a 257. My truck and wallet are just not ready though.

The 222 would be a perfect size up compromise but most of the ones I have seen have problem 225-250 Yamahas and/or wet transoms. Youngest ones will still be 15 years old though so working against that goal. Still a very nice boat and like the layout and hull better than the 216/236.

Coming up on a 1 year anniversary of selling my saltwater Grady and I barely use my aluminum boat so likely going to have to expand my shopping list to include other brands and models. What’s funny is I called on another newer 21’ center console brand and the dealer (not a Grady dealer) told me I would notice a fair difference in quality after owning the Grady and warned me that I may not be happy with brand x.

In case my wife is monitoring these forums, my budget is very limited and I need to prioritize her shoe money first. ;)

I honestly don't have a budget. Rather, it needs to fit what I'm looking for and be a fair price. The range seems to be 35-55K with some big differences in what pops up. However, I know what I'm looking for may be a bit of a unicorn. But the price would need to reflect my requirements being met and yes, I am aware of how picky I'm being. For the right price, my expectations/requirements can be loosened up.

What's wrong with the 2008 located in NC that I sent before? Too old or a different layout from the newer ones? Looks to be a nice boat, doesn't appear to have bottom paint on it, 700 hours on the motor and is a Yamaha F250 as opposed to a F150-F200, 2017 trailer.

Regarding that one, there are several things that don't work for me personally including most of what you mentioned. 700 hours would certainly not concern me at all for 17+ year old boat. I am targeting a F200 inline 4 due to the weight / performance for that hull. I sea trialed a 2009 208 with a 250 and while it is a different boat (and a little heavier), the hull is the same. With just me and my 100 lb wife standing in the back, water was coming in through the scuppers. I'm about 185 (..sucks in beer gut...). That boat may have had other issues going on (including a wet transom?) but later was told by a dealer that the bigger outboards may push the weight just over the limit potentially bringing water in when standing back there. Moving the batteries into the console could help though or just wear a pair of xtratuffs?

However, that 2008 appears to very nice (possibly very well taken cared of) and I'm sure worth it to the right person, but not for me.

There was a boat up here 3 weeks ago that I missed out on. A 2017 209 with an F200 with 42 hours. It had bottom paint and the price was higher than I would have wanted to pay. However, it did not last long and was under contract before I could get to see it.
