WTB: Grady White Voyager/Journey/Gulfstream

It got bad exhaust rot and will need an engine. I didn’t think it was in good enough condition to warrant doing the work

$25k for a boat that needs a new outboard, has very old electronics, no radar and doesn't come with a trailer? Yikes.

Also kind of odd that they don't mention anything about the outboard on the Boat Trader posting or on their website. The only things that the listing talk about are essentially cosmetic items. Sounds a little sketchy, especially from a Grady White dealer...

To be fair, they are willing to take a lot less for it and the dealer was very upfront about it before I went to see it, not sure why no mention in the ad. They even made accommodations for me to view that and another boat while they were closed. I would have loved to do a deal with them if the boat was in better shape itself.

Apparently there was a tentative deal and when the survey was done they discovered the engine issue.

I was going to say, I thought that Port of Egypt had a pretty good reputation. Glad to hear that they told you about the issue over the phone before you made the drive out there to see it in person.

Figured I would post a little update. I picked up a really nice gulfstream up in Connecticut over the weekend! Super stoked to be part of the Grady family!

Hi, I noticed your post is several months old now. In the event you have not located the right boat yet. Take a look at this post from last year: https://www.greatgrady.com/threads/for-sale-2005-grady-white-gulfstream-232.37703/. I still have the boat. I have moved the boat from the northern Gulf Coast to our home in LaGrange, GA. The 2026 price is reduced to $41,000. As the advertisement will show you, the boat has a 2018 Yamaha 300hp. outboard. This is a very good and clean boat that needs a new home. I am the second owner purchasing the boat in 2008. call Diane at : 850-377-9136
