Yamaha 150trs-175trs-200trs-200txrs - What is this hose for?

Pitot pressure to provide water pressure to speed sensor on a Yamaha gauge. Not real valuable given today's GPS connections and GPS speed availability. Highly prone to clogging as the port on the leading edge of the outdrive is quite small.

@wspitler Thanks! I noticed it was disconnected the other day, popped it back in, and it came out again. Doesn't seem like something I need to replace based on the usefulness of GPS.
 
Not critical but you don't want it spitting sea water inside the cowling, If it pops off, I would bet it also is spitting water.

@seasick - that's a good point. In my case, might not be a problem, as the disconnect happens at the base near #9 in the diagram. However, will be something to check and address!
