The F225's are great engines and are very reliable. I do agree with Brian though, your boat will have a tough time with that weight, and 225's are a lot of power for an islander. The best power would be twin 150's-200's. I'd recommend a 175 or 200 personally, but F150's are very fuel efficient. Also, going with smaller power will be cheaper up front, you might be able to buy new for the price of F225's new, and you will be more fuel efficient as well and save money on not only fuel, but on tune's as well, each engine size has it's own rate depending on the manufacturer. Yamaha F150's are cheaper to service then F200's and F225's, F250's are the next price range up from there, also something to consider. As for power, the boat can handle it ride wise, but you will be putting your scuppers at or below the water line, if they are plastic nylon they need to be replaced for sure, if they are any type of metal your better off, but will have a slower draining cockpit.
