Just ran my 33' Grady offshore for the first time this season and ran great except that the yamaha gauge which shows speed and trip just displayed dashes with no info. Other 3 gauges read well. I have twin 250 four strikes 2005. Any ideas where to start trouble shooting? I have 2 hull mounted transducers for 2 Navnet2's and I get good readings on them and my RD30. Thanks

There is a small hole on the engine a little below the anticavitation plate in front of the cone like shape on the lower unit of your motor. Get a paper clip(the big ones) and try to find and insert it in that hole. Most likely you have marine growth in there. DO NOT go more than 2" deep, as you might gamage the rubber hose attached to it. Usually GW gets the info from the starboard motor, but do both just in case.
