I have a 2020. 232 gulfstream. The Yamaha command screen 6YD.
I somehow screwed it up and now I have to reset it to communicate with my fuel tank.
The tank is 140 gals.

I found the tank settings on the unit, but after trying to set it up, now I’m getting alert triangle icons under my twin 150s

does anyone have tips for resetting the engines and tank?

Are you sure it is a 6YD?
Here is a link to the 6YC manual. Page 6 is the section on engine config and gas tank setup.

A buddy of mine recently added a CL5, I don't think the CL7 is made any more. Setting up the gas tank was a royal pain, he had to use up all his fuel and tell it to zero when the tank was empty. I can dig out more details if that is not enough info.

CL7 is a Garmin unit. Mine is 2019 and I am sure Garmin developed everything a lot since then so likely also this is not available anymore.
A pain to get fuel info to work. I lost the set up when removing batteries and have not been able to restore it. I do get % of fuel left in one field if I press it and same % appear in my Raymarien Axiom but the fuel management does not work. I have been rrunning generally with ab. 1G/NM but after 36 miles Raymarine tells me I used 96G which obviously is not correct while it at the same time tells me I am 30G short of a full tank ......................
Not happy about that.

I am not sure whay removing the batteries ( main batteries?) would cause the config to be lost.
