YAMAHA F150

Short answer, yes. I would consider the new F200 as well. A little more HP is always better.

The 200 is the way to o IMHO. I have the 204c. My F200 rocks this hull. 150 underpowered with much of a load. Resell better too with 200

Spend the extra coin, do it once do it right

Got a Yammy 150 on my 204c. It does the job, but boy would I prefer a 2 hundy

You will probably be disappointed especially if travelling with more than one passenger or a full tank of gas. The boat will sit lower also due to the extra weight of the 4s. The new Yani lightweight 4 cylinder 4s 200 would be my choice although I have a bit of hesitancy recommending the first year of a new model.

GG Member "Bob's Cay" has a 204 with a 200 HPDI...I think that might be the optimum setup...

My very first test ride in a Grady was an Adventure 208. The 1st thing I thought of when the boat planed off was that it needed a 200 or 225.

Bigfoot is correct. "Do it once, do it right."

I agree with the crowd, the 150 is a bit underpowered. I have a 180 Sportsman with a 150 Yamaha and it is great, however my son has 20 ft Grady with a 225 and that is a much heavier boat that needs at least a 200 :goodjob if not a 225.
My two cents.
Best of luck...and do it right, :goodjob
