I have 150 hrs on my f200 i4. A great match for the 208. Found better rpm and speed by lifting the motor one hole from factory setting. Get one and enjoy!! cheers, trapper

So far only good stories from the F200 4 cyl, none first hand but much better mileage than the HPDI's they had before. Well 1.5 to 2+ doesn't sound like much but it helps on canyon trips.

Working on it! It's tough here in Ca. Want to buy the engine from BOAT.NET.....best price...$3000 less than the dealer I want to install it wants for the same engine. They are balking, since it cuts them out of engine sale, which I can understand, but with sales tax we are talking almost $5000 price difference!Yamaha has serious issues in this department. What size prop are you running?

Hi ric, apologies for not responding to your question. I guess I missed it first time around, but better late than not at all. I am running the SS Yamaha Reliance 17p SDS. Find it a good match for the boat. My WOT is 5700 rpm a little low but it planes in about 4 seconds and I cruise at 3800-4000 getting 28 -29 mph. I suppose I maybe should have got the 15p, I tried it and liked the responce and cruising speed of the 17p better. I have been assured that I would not see any damage to the F200 with 17p prop. Again apologies for the late responce. Cheers, trapper
