I recently lost the display in my Yamaha Fuel Management Gauge. It only has partial displays that make it unreadable. I believe the unit itself is working fine, its just a matter of the readout. Has anyone had any similiar issues. Any suggestions or I am doomed to puchasing a new unit. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

What year and model engines? Do you have twin engines? If so, try swapping them and see if the problem follows. If a single, I would check the wiring for a loose or missing ground connection or other wire to the gauge. If someone here has a diagram for your gauge, you might be able to do some voltage checks at the little push-on connectors.

Thanks for the reply. I added the gauge to my 2001 GW 209 in 2002. Single Power, a 200 HPDI which I repowered in 2005. I will poke my head back under the console and double check the connections.

Marine connection in Ft. Pierce has a lot of new ones. A friend just bought one new in box for $197.00
