We just purchased a 2022 GW Canyon 271 with Yamaha Helmaster EX and the compass heading is incorrect.
I believe Autopilot is working correctly because it uses GPS for direction.
It is when the heading on the chartplotter uses the heading sensor that it is obvious the heading sensor(compass) needs calibration.
The online videos and Yamaha technical help show how to calibrate the heading sensor.
The directions are:
CL7: Engine > Menu > Calibration > Compass Setup
But... We do not have the calibration option any where within the CL7 menus.
Has anyone else seen this before?
