Out to see the fireworks last night and found that my S/B multifunction tach and the fuel management gauge(2000 272 2 by 200 SWS OX66) had no back lighting. The port multi-tach and speed gauges were back lit. Any thoughts or guidance before I start taking the entire panel out?..

I'm assuming that you checked that the backlight function was "On" on those particular gauges? You need to cycle through the modes on each gauge to get to the "Light" mode. I'm assuming you did that but you know what they say about assuming.

there all daisy changed with bullet and female plugs, trace the wires back from the first gauge. pull the rubber bulb holder out and check for voltage. Hope that helps, My gauges are always on there's no way to turn them off.
