Yami 225 tilt adjustment help??

I have a 2003 228 with a 225 4-stroke and i love it. But when I tilt the motor up; it still dips in the water about 3 inches or so. Is there an adjustment on the engine tilt so that I can tilt it more??
This model is a bit butt-heavy because of the bracket, the 4 stroke and the gas tank is aft.
 
That's one of the issues with the heavier four strokes and with brackets. A lot of weight moves astern. Try to reduce some weight in the rear and/or add or move weight to the bow.
 
On the 228 Grady has the main fuel tank dead center but as far aft as the bilge. Then there is a space in front of the main fuel tank for an accessory tank; another 45 gallons or so. They really need to reverse this and put the main tank forward as possible.....
 
228G w/ 250 SWS II 2 stroke and does the exact same thing. It's the design of the boat.
 
I think you're right. The Mercury engine is 32 pounds heavier and still fully tilts off the water...
