Does anyone know where I can get a stainless steel or plastic cab to replace my old aluminum one ?

Do you mean the "bang cap" - the piece that covers the top edge of the transom where the engines sit?

It's just a piece of L-channel - you can source that anywhere.

Your local dealer probably has the vinyl ones in stock, though - it's a common thing to replace. Well, to replace the mis-engineered (for WAY too long!) aluminum ones, I mean.

Yes that's what I'm looking for, totally a bad engineering job.
Thanks

Grady White Dealers have the vinyl reopen placement - I had mine done last year. They also glassed over the open gap before applying the new cap - looks great and double sealed.
