Is this a mistake or do your engines burn 30.4 (2x15.2) Liter per hour @ 4200 rpm?
That is very hard to believe as it's about about half of what every other outboard of same HP burns.

Below numbers of my 306 Canyon, the 330 Express should use more fuel and have less nMpG

RPM
Twin 2011 F300 @ 4300 rpm = 55.3L/hour per engine or 110.6 L/h @ 25.7 knots =0.88 nMpG
Twin 2025 BF350 @ 4100 RPM = 46.4 l/h per engine or 92.8L/h @ 29.7 knots 1.12 nmpg

30 Knots
Twin 2011 F300 @ 4700 rpm = 71.25 L/hour per engine or 142.5 L/h =0.79 nMpG
Twin 2025 BF350 @ 4100 RPM = 46.4 l/h per engine or 92.8L/h @ 29.7 knots 1.12 nmpg

It’s Gallons per hour

I think the …L shows like that because the boxes set up on the Simrad screen cut off the GA part of GAL

Just got back from a canyon run this weekend, here are some real-world numbers.

Total trip 288 nautical miles, burned 286 gals.

When converting the NM to Miles, I get 331 miles and dividing that by 286 gives me 1.15 miles per gallon.

Here is how running broke out.
Out - ran at 4500 rpm at 24.5knots for 100+ NM
Trolling - total of 13 hours trolling at about 1600 - 1700RPM
Overnight - 6 hours running single engine at a time.
Return - ran at 4300rpm running 24.5knots for 100 + NM

I'm happy with the new motors and props which I detailed earlier in the thread.

We were heavily laden, 4 guys, a dozen offshore combos, 300lbs ice, full fuel, water, two coolers full of drink and food, plus other misc gear.


(we caught a couple yellowfin, and went 1/3 on Marlin as well)

That sounds like an awesome trip, and very similar to how I would be loaded for the same trip. Very encouraging. 1NMPG is completely acceptable to me for a trip like that.
