Looking to do the LP fuel pump delete on my Yamaha two strokes. Motors run great but I'm fed up with replacing the pumps. Has anyone done this on their 306 and if so where did you locate the electric fuel pump? Thanks.
There shouldn't be any computer involved with your electric low pressure pump. That runs all the time based on how you setup the relay.i bought the block off plates and used a low pressure fuel pump from a new 4 stroke motor mounted on engine with a relay. works perfect. they say it might flood if trolling alot because on the newer ones the computer turns low pump on and off, so ive been told. but no issues and 2nd year running. was on 225hp ox66 on my 226
correct, but on the 4 stroke lp pumps it is controlled by the computer. There shouldn't be any computer involved with your electric low pressure pump. That runs all the time based on how you setup the relay.
I'm still not following - how does this affect the OP's OX66's?correct, but on the 4 stroke lp pumps it is controlled by the computer.
just replying to what lp pump i put on my ox66. tried carter first, but had issues so i installed one that fits on a 4 stroke.I'm still not following - how does this affect the OP's OX66's?
