Considering selling my '84 241 Offshore I/O. Looking at a '95 268 Islander w/ tired 175hp Mercury's. Anything to look for besides the norm? What should I expect to pay??

After 10+yrs of ownership, I'm replacing the 32 yr old fuse block. When removing it seemed like only (4) wires connected to it. I was able to trace them as follows: 1) Cabin Power (wire going to a box located in the cabin on the port side) 2) Trim Tabs 3) VHF/GPS (Installed by myself) 4) Cabin...

Your engine is a SBC. I would stick w/ the AC Delco plugs, they do have a marine version....I think it's MR43*****.

After reading about all these problems..........I like my I/O even more!

If you start selling these pcs I'm expecting a kick-back!! I bet you really could sell 'em though..... Your '85 is gonna make my '84 look old........

I would recommend Sikkens Cetol Marine Sealer.............works great! I use the natural teak color.

Anyone have any experience with the Garmin EchoMap 70dv? West Marine had them on sale for $649........seemed like a good price! Looking for pros/cons Tony

I use Nu Finish in the spring.......seems to last all season on the hull.
