    2000 Adventure 208 is 150 HP enough???

I have a Yamaha 225 on my Adventure w/hardtop and wouldn't want less. Max for this hull (2005) was 230hp. When I repower, it'll be another 225.

Best prop for Grady 208 Adventure Hardtop

    I have a 2005 Yamaha 225 on my 208 w/ hardtop running a Q3 14.5 x 17. It'll make 6000rpm WOT and pushes the boat 45+ with a normal load. Typically cruise at 26-30mph @ 3800rpm or somewhere right in that range.

    WTB Adventure 208

Good luck with your search. I had similar criteria when I was looking for a 208. It took about 18 months to find what I wanted, and even then I had to make some exceptions. Well worth the effort and time in the end.

Adding Radar Arch / Hard Top on Adventure 208 with F150 Yamaha

I put an Atlantic Towers hard top on my 208 a couple years ago. I have radar, lights, etc. mounted up there. I'm running a Yamaha 225 on mine, and haven't noticed any perceivable drop in performance. I'll say this - with the hardtop and curtains up, it's like a sail in all but the most gentle of...

    Add hard top to 208

I did the same to my 2005 Adventure last year. I ended up going with Atlantic Towers "Tower in a Box", as it was going to take months (at least) to get a custom top built here in northern WI. Installation was fairly straightforward - I built a frame to hold it in the approximate position I...

98 Adventure needs dash update! Need help

I did a similar project this spring on my 2005 Adventure, using Starboard. Although I would have preferred larger, the 9" Garmin was the biggest chart plotter that would fit without really hacking things up.

    Garmin EULA

This is a 942xs installed this spring. Updated to the latest rev before I splashed the boat.

    Garmin EULA

Hmmm. Same Garmin on my Adventure, similar behavior noted. Except the notice DOES just go away without any intervention on my part. I assume you're running the most current software?

1977 Grady White, our first boating season...

Nice job on the restore. What part of Lake Superior are you boating on? Had my Grady out last week and I haven't put her to bed yet... Last year we were in the Apostle Islands on December 3rd ;)
