Not trying to fill the drain plug at all. I ended up using a 1" brass through-hull tube and 5200 to make everything water-tight. to the back of the drain plug. Before it was a hole that was coated in silicone to keep any water out of the transom.

Thanks for the response. I am actually referring to the hole that goes through the hull. Past where the plug actually screws in.

I am replacing the drain plug on a 2005 Gulfstream. What do I put to fill the hole behind the plug? It just feels like silicone now. It needs something more substantial. My other question is: where can I purchase the 1/2" x 1/16" or 1/8" black ribbed weather stripping used for the drawer seals...

I am looking for a full-width engine bracket for a 2005 Gulfstream. I am going to hang a single Suzuki 300 dual prop on it. Any thoughts of possibly finding a used twin bracket or possibly even a full-width swim platform, and using my existing Grady single-engine bracket?

The previous owner had passed away, but his best friend, who fished with him, said Grady had put in a new transom under a factory recall.

The transom was replaced by Grady White under a recall. I also checked it, and it is good. With one engine not running correctly, I'm aiming for 11 or 12 thousand for her.

I looked at this boat. It is pretty clean! I think 95% refers to the fact that it is not a perfect boat....but close.

This one is a scam folks. He ased me to put up $1,000 before he wold call and talk to me about the boat! . I was ready to drive from Virginia to Georgia to look at this one. Exactly what I was looking for.... Darn scammers!!!!! I have reported this post.

Keep us posted. I recently purchased a 1995 26' Islander and am considering doing the same. I don't fish offshore much. I hadn't thought about the traction of two props......
