    Grady 232 vs. 228

I have a 230 with twin 150's and I sure feel it even with my 2015 ram 2500 cummins. That's a lot of boat to lug around. I really never notice the width to be a pproblem when trailering, but I don't go that far. Mine is plenty rocky though. Two axle trailer. Awesome boat offshore. Terrible...

    Anchr roller 96 232 Gulfstream

I had a similar issue on my 1999 Gulfstream. My hoop is 2 piece and it along with the end of the anchor bracket was bent out. I was all proud of myself when I took it off, straightened it out and got my hoop bent back where it needed to be. Once I did that the anchor wouldn't come up the track...

    Repower Questions

Can't help you much, but I feel your pain. I have a 230 Gulfstream with twin 2000 Johnson 150's. I went out Saturday for my first real ocean run. I have no clue how far I went (I was back and fourth to some artificial reefs). I have a 130 galllon main tank and burned though 3/4 of a tank. Owch...

1995 Johnson Ocean Runner Stalling When Returned to Neutral

Re: 1995 Johnson Ocean Runner Stalling When Returned to Neut I wonder if it could be the shift interrupter malfunctioning? Its supposed to cut half the cylinders when you are shifting.

Oh nice. Mine (not the same model) is down near the bilge.

Should it trim this far down?

Agreed. I forgot they were out. Shortly after the pic I heard them flopping around and my daughter pulled them in for me. Noob mistake! I always either forget to put my antenna up or back down too! Picked up some nice Spanish moss from the trees last time heading home with her. And yes, I love...

Raw Water / Live Well Valve

I don't know if you used yours before, but I can tell you for me when it's time, I will be getting 2 separate pumps so I don't have to crawl around to turn a valve every time.

Should it trim this far down?

Well......the kid for sure! The wife is on the fence so far, but that's my own fault. Never having a big boat, nor in the intercoastal with the current, tide, and normally high wind, with sketchy engines has made for stressful outings. New fuel lines, fuel/water seperators, sea foam, and getting...

Should it trim this far down?

Well shes getting cleaner by the day. Ive done A LOT of work to this thing to get it sea worthy. My daughter spends lots of time shining up stainless too! Finally got one side wet sanded and buffed a couple days ago. Made a huge difference! Found a couple loose bracket bolts the other night, so...

Should it trim this far down?

OK I will leave it as is. I haven't been offshore yet and I hadn't thought of using it to force the nose down. And thanks for the tip on the inlet. Last time (first time) out at the jetty I got myself into trouble with shallow water and huge rollers!

Should it trim this far down?

I guess the reason I ask is many times when I plan to take off to get on plane quickly i trim them all the way down. So I was thinking of moving the stopper up if they had no purpose being that far down. That way I'm not searching for the best place to have it on takeoff. My trim gauges aren't...

    GIL BRACKET DRAIN

I would caution using 5200 on the drain plug. Someone did that on mine and now it won't come back out!
