I had a similar issue on my 1999 Gulfstream. My hoop is 2 piece and it along with the end of the anchor bracket was bent out. I was all proud of myself when I took it off, straightened it out and got my hoop bent back where it needed to be. Once I did that the anchor wouldn't come up the track...

Can't help you much, but I feel your pain. I have a 230 Gulfstream with twin 2000 Johnson 150's. I went out Saturday for my first real ocean run. I have no clue how far I went (I was back and fourth to some artificial reefs). I have a 130 galllon main tank and burned though 3/4 of a tank. Owch...

The plastic panel can be wetsanded and buffed just like paint on a car.

I would caution using 5200 on the drain plug. Someone did that on mine and now it won't come back out!
