    lists to port when underway

Sounds like Prop torque. Normal unless list is extreme.

    T-Top Canvas...needs replacement!

Starting with the zip ties is how you locate it correctly in the frame and put tension on it before you start lacing it. I kept a pair of nippers so as I was lacing and encountered a zip tie I could snip them. Lacing By myself, started in the center bow of the top, worked my way down one side to...

    T-Top Canvas...needs replacement!

I no longer have the boat, but here’s a pic of the new top. I did buy it from g2 and went with the Sunbrella Sea Mark. I had the new top back in about a week. They send you enough cord to do the job, too. Plenty of videos on YT on how to lace it. Pretty easy DIY.

    T-Top Canvas...needs replacement!

I did a top on a Pioneer I had. Removed the old top and sent it to a shop where they copied it. Iirc, the shop was in Vermont. I chose an upgraded Sunbrella product that has a rubber backing, so completely waterproof. Maybe took two hours to install the new cover. Put it up first with zip...

Battery Charger Install Freedom 235 Dual Console

Here’s where I put the Marineco bulkhead plug on a Freedom 215. The charger was mounted on the inside of the same bulkhead.

First time Grady White owner - Seafarer 228.

Nice! My first Grady was a 2004 228. Had a 4 stroke on it, a 225 Yammie. I put 2 Raymarine 6” displays in the dash cubby, one for depth/fish and the other for charts. My fondest memories are of constantly replacing the vhf antenna due to forgetting to lower it. :)

    Freedom 215 Trailer setup

Those aluminum main bunks are standard fare for Charleston Trailer. They’re typically used on boat lifts and their advantages apply to boat trailer use, too. They don’t rot nor float. After looking at your pics I think you could benefit from new main bunks and brackets, whether you go the...

    Freedom 215 Trailer setup

Dug up another pic that may help you. I had Charleston Trailer build this for a Freedom 225, so very similar to the 215. Harder to notice than the front bunks, the main bunks are also “pidgeon towed”, I.e. the bunks are closer together towards the bow than the stern. This was set up to...

    Side Power Bow Thruster

Here’s a video of replacing the motor shaft key. Dont know if it applies to your model but the one I had was similar to this. Video guy is a bit cumbersome but you get the idea.

    Side Power Bow Thruster

Going from faded memory and not sure the models are the same, but the one I had on a Back Cove you pulled the motor from inside the boat to access where the key is (was).

    Side Power Bow Thruster

I think those have a key between the motor and propeller shafts. May be sheared.

    Grady White Freedom 215

More so Yamaha than Grady offering digital controls. Digital shifting, throttle and steering was introduced in higher end, higher horsepower motors somewhere around 2018, I think. On a 215, common power is a 200HP which would likely be hydraulic steering. the 250HP has electric steering...

Livewell pump runs but it won't fill

I’d try priming the pump from the bait well side by using your hose at the livewell water inlet.

    Newbie Question

The scupper has probably seen better days. It’s normal for your bilge pump to kick on when loading on a trailer. Angle of the ramp/trailer runs water to the stern and bilge pump did its job.
