This had happen to me. There are two relays on the motor for the tilt and trim. They are black and one of them has gone bad. To find out which one is bad swap them and push the tilt button. They both work in either direction depending on which side of the tilt they are on.

My 01 228 did the same thing as yours. I never had an issue with it. I hope this helps ease your mind....

Try using Plexus it does a good job of cleaning the plastic. My friends eisenglass was cloudy and with a little elbow grease it cleaned it up. Good Luck

Those little critters are hard to get off when they are alive. Power washing will not do the job. If you wait about a week or 2 they will die and dry out. When that happens you can just scrape them off. Have fun, Lenny

The 2006c has depth finder/fish finder capabilites, you need to install a sounding unit and transducer. As far as the lines for fish finding you need to go into the setup pages and click on sounder. you can change the settings there. Lenny

Guys, As it turns out i had two fuel injectors that went bad. The other 4 were serviced and 2000 bucks later that motor purrrrrrrrrrrs once again. I only had 197 hours on the motor so i dont know why they went bad. I was told it wasnt the gas. Lenny

I was bringing the boat to the mechanic on sat. I was able to get the engine up to 5200rpms. I brought it back to 3500rpms and then back up to 5200. I did this 5 or 6 times and it ran fine. Except for changing the vst filter I have no clue as to why it is ok now. Maybe a blockage.... I asked...

I finally got around to changing the vst filter. I ran the boat and the surging stopped but i cant get more than 4600 rpms at wide open throttle. Any ideas??? Lenny

My toe rail cracked over the winter. I called Grady customer service and the sent me a new one at no charge. I just had to cut it to size. Lenny
