Good boat, I second the coments above. Soft floors aren't a dealbreaker but leverage to negotiate a better price.

So my offshore has a washdown switch at the helm and a socket/ hose adapter the port side rear near the seat/ compartment. It also has a plastic handle looking piece under the 4 rod holders near the rear center livewell/ fish box . Nothing happens when I push the switch. The switch that operated...

Battery and fuel filter location help

A better place? Not sure you understand... The rear compartment of the offshore model is where things like batteries, oil tank, fuel filter, etc are located. Boat buying advice

If it original its 28 years and probably will need replacing soon, another negotiating point. As other have said the transom also needs to...

Battery and fuel filter location help

I moved the fuel filter about 7 inches over to the left (more in the center) that's a far as I could really mount it and be able to have use of my primer bulb as well as get In and change the filter. You think that's ok? The fuel lines are at least 7 inches away from the batt. Raining today will...

Do you think twin 115's are enough power for an offshore 242

My 242g's yammi 250 pushes the boat just fine. Not sure if twin 115 could do justice. I guess it depends if.this is going to be used on a calm lake then yes. But saltwater I'm not too sure.
