    powering a 192 Tournament

I have a 1994 tourney with a yamaha 200hp 2 stroke saltwater series and the thing moves. I love having the extra power, it's great. However, if i had some money, i'd put on a brand new 4stroke 150. But having the 200 has been perfect for me except my wallet sort of hates me sometimes :)

    Tournament 190 speaker configuration

Hi there - I have a 1994 tourney and i installed four 6-1/2 inch marine grade alpine round speakers and a marine grade sony deck last year. It sounds very nice and the speaker locations are perfect. So, i have the one up front (not the open bow portion) next to the captains chair and the other...

    Anyone with a dighy setup?

Hey everyone - I'm looking into buying a 27 foot Sailfish and i'm wondering if anyone has good ideas for a dingy setup. I have a dog and when anchored i'm going to need to ferry her to shore to make 'deposits'. Anyone have any good dinghy ideas? Thanks!

    Sailfish vs. Islander

Great Info! BobP - My lady liked the sailfish cause she could sleep while i fish! More questions: is the aft birth a single? And is there factory heat on board or would i be looking at aftermarket red dot? It looks like there's a ref. and possibly a micro down there? Is the head...

    Sailfish vs. Islander

Thanks! Thanks guys! Are there any cons to the sailfish that you can think of? Also, what are they typically powered with? Do you find the cabin space to be large enough? The boat will be for JUST my lady and i, plus our labrador. Lab goes in the aft birth :) Thanks again everyone!

    Sailfish vs. Islander

Hey everyone.....I have a 1994 19' Tournament and am looking into bumping up in size. I really like the 27' sailfish, but also see that the islander is 27' also. Or does somebody think that there's a comparable 25' Grady? So, the big question is which one to go with. Any tips on pros and...

    1994 tournament 19 open bow

Tictaktug, I am not sure what brand of a bracket it is. It's pretty simple though. Basically what it does is lays flat on the swim platform about 8x8 and then on the end it has another vertical piece that is also about 8x8. And that's where the kicker slides down and attaches. This proabably...

    1994 tournament 19 open bow

Fair enough Mr. Bass. Now it's time to see the real deal. Good luck on your purchase and if you decide not to go thru with it, may you have great luck in the future. If you have any other questions give me a shout or come take a peak at mine. Have a good one guys!

    1994 tournament 19 open bow

Okay, yes, inspections should be done. However it's not like you're buying a Bayliner here. Yes, i do understand it is still a boat, and yes it could have problems, but typically Grady's don't have those kind of issues. They are built very strong to withstand all sorts of conditions. I did...

    1994 tournament 19 open bow

I do not agree with Striped Bass what so ever. 13k for a clean grady is actually a great deal especially in the Northwest. They are typically in far better condition than an Eastcoast boats. Eastcoast Grady's are cheaper for a reason because of the weather over there. I bought mine for 15k...

    1994 tournament 19 open bow

Well, how do ya like that, a fellow Puget Sounder. There's not too many out there.... I have a 1994 tourney 192. I've been incredibly happy with this boat. I have a 200hp saltwater series. I love the power of this boat, but i think if i had the chance i would run a 175 on it. I feel...

    Tournament 192 cockpit lights

Hey everyone - I've got a 1994 tourney 192 and on the port side of the cockpit the light has burned out. I know this seems like and easy fix and many of you may be calling me a fool, but i just can't seem to get the darn thing out. Anyone know the trick? Do you remove it from the front of...

    Yamaha 200 Saltwater Series

Thanks for that. My motor is a 1994 so i'm not really sure if the ethenol is the problem. I haven't heard that you need to add fuel stabilizer every time, but i will try it and see what's doing. The motor has always seemed to lug when running at low RPM's and i just attributed that to it...

    Yamaha 200 Saltwater Series

Thanks for all the advice! What sort of fuel treatment did you use? Typically when i winterize i use a fuel conditioner, are you talking about something else?

    Battery swith for 192 tourney

I have mine on the starboard side wall as well under the rear seat. It's nice and out of the way. My battery is pretty much the exact setup as the other guy, one under the seat and one port side. Hope this helps. For what it's worth, i would never put it in the engine well.
