    228 Seastar bulkhead replacement lines

I worry more about seals rather than hoses or fittings and am always looking for the telltale drips of fluid. That said should you decide to replace and bleed I would direct you to MarineTech, https://marinetech.com/professional-marine-tools/seastar.html They make a hose and fitting system for...

280 Marlin speed and fuel economy with 4 strokes

Got the props on but no chance to run, bad weather. Would have had to pull props anyway as the day before I got an outrigger line in the port motor/prop. Went swimming offshore with the Portuguese man of war, which I fear more than the spinner sharks and thought I got it all. At the dock I...

    welding hardtop support

Looks like I have a second weld in my hardtop support tubing that is breaking. The first came with the boat, the second seems to have started recently. Not sure how this should be handled. Steel no prob, I would repair it myself, aluminum not so fast. Looking for advice. thanks

280 Marlin speed and fuel economy with 4 strokes

So after 100 hrs I am thinking that I am just not getting enough rpm at WOT. Seems like no matter what conditions or load the best I can get is 5200 on port and 5150 on starboard and a max top end of 40mph. 280 Marlin with 2022 df250 Suzukis. Currently running 3x16x21.5 props from dealer. I...
