I used Atlas Auto for redoing my canvas, a good shop that does great work though they are busy shop and turn around time could be long.

I just repowered my 96 228g with a yamaha 200 4-stroke. It does very well topping out at 40+mph or so. I am planning to change the prop a bit but other than that no complaints.

I do currently have a swim ladder so I would assume that would give me a good reference point for measurements. Thanks for the advice on calling Bennett.

So long story short I got a 1996 228G late last summer and installed a Raymarine ES97 MFD, a new VHF and did canvas updates over the winter but after using the boat this summer I am already planning the next projects. 1. The boat doesn't have trim tabs and after reading many posts here I think...

I went with the Navy Blue as well and it looks pretty close.

I know this is an old thread but it help me find new wiper blades for my 96 228G. I picked one up at NAPA auto parts for under $8. The NAPA part number for the 16" is 60-1670. I found it on the web here too http://www.napaonline.com/napa/en/p/ACO601670 Hope this helps some others who are...

This is a great list! I just got my boat last August so this is a great list as I start do my first spring commission of this "new to me" boat. What is the recommendation for cleaning/waxing the top of the hardtop? I have some decent chalking on it.

Looks great, just woke up to a coating of snow here in Southern CT with more forecasted this week. I think I have another week or two before the shrink wrap comes off!
