I decided to replace the helm pump on my 91 tournament . The pump is much smaller and needs a backing plate. I am having a hard time finding a 20 degree mounting bracket to mach the holes in the dash. Has anyone else had this problem and whats the solution . . Thanks. Jim.

I replaced the O-ring last year it leaked over the winter. It seems that it was leaking at the O ring again . The kit for this pump is 70 bucks. The O ring only comes with the whole kit. Looks possibly difficult to replace all O rings in pump without leaks .

I was wandering how many gallons the gas tank holds and what is the best,most accurate sending unit you can buy. The current sending unit is a Yamaha I have tried to adjust the arm for a more accurate read with no luck.

:hmm Whats the best way to remove the battery on a 1991 225 g tournament. Its at the port side stern just left of the oil tank. do I unhook the oil tank and slide over or remove the fishbox ? This seems like a poor design.

The splash plate is gone I guess this was a bad idea from grady. Is there a replacement for this part or should it be sealed?
