My Grady 228 (2004) has a Delta anchor and windlass ... I am going to fish a rocky area and think of getting a Wreck (Grapnel anchor) ... What size (weight) should I use? ... it won't be attached to a chain to reduce the possibility of being stuck. Thank you

Just want to update everyone... Two evo3 7 inches barely fitted inside the box but i had to fix them on a shorter wood frame to account for the curvature on the right and left sides. Furthermore, i have to remove the central two knobs ... replaced them With shorter pins ... Very tight and...

Maybe I have a different tank! the inlet is at the top. If no water is flowing from the inlet, the tank remains full unless I remove the drain. I installed a regulator for the pump to control the time of its operation based on the amount and type of bait.

Thank you for your reply... Unfortunately, the hose was disconnected from the livewell itself and not from the scupper ... this was a two-person operation. Now, being alone, I can't do it in the same reverse order :( ... The only way is to connect everything to the live well then secure it to...

Hi all, I changed the livewell pump on my 2004 228 but I am unable to reinstall the livewell hose back properly. The space is too tight to refit the hose to the drain at the bottom of the livewell and secure it with the double clamps. Should the hose be fitted to the bottom of the livewell first...

No need to measure it thank you.... that is more than enough for me at the moment... I'll install it next weekend. We use metric units in the Middle East... By the way, I bought the whole system online from a Simrad dealer in Australia... my first time to make an online order from outside USA...

Thank you for the great help .. Definitely, I'll use your photo to install the ducer .. i am still not clear how far the ducer should project below the transom. Due to the deadrise angle of the boat, if i keep it 3 mm below waterline as recommended by Simrad (side close to the central line)...

Hi What is the transom angle on 228 2004 (Not deadrise angle).. i am installing 1kw Airmar T185M.. I need to compensate for transom angle using Shims.. Do you use shims? How many? Can you track bottom at speed? Any real life experience in installing these huge transducer is appreciated...

Zipper on the bimini-top worn out. The Canvas enclosure has been kept at home all the time so it's in perfect condition. Need to change the Zipper on the bimini but there are many sizes and shapes. Any help with selecting the right size and length for Grady 228 - 2004
