    License Numbers

I've had great experiences with DIYlettering.com on all the boats and old cars where I needed reg. numbers or to duplicate or come close to some old decal or badge. They have a wide selection of fonts, styles, effects and colors. Here's are examples from our lake boat, not our Grady, but you...

Restaurants with dockage on Buzzards Bay

Revive the thread as the Spring is here... I'm very new to salt water boating but here is what I've learned so far. There are a few places in Onset; Marc Anthony's has some of the best pizza on the Cape, Quahog Republic is decent, both are a short walk from the Town docks. Soprano's on...

I need lettering ideas for my 283 Release

Oh yes, we took it seriously, IIRC it involves water soluble ink, a piece of metal, recitations, and rum... The folks on the fuel dock all joined in:-)

On ours? The upper case are ~6", total length is a bit over 12". DIYlettering.com's design tool, is good at letting you visualize ratios, etc. I made a rough template our of paper to get the size and placement, then designed the lettering within that 'box'.

I need lettering ideas for my 283 Release

Just named ours last week. I chose to offset the name to port as the across the transom location looks great, but is always partially obstructed by the motors. BTW DIYLettering.com is fantastic; quality products and great design tool.

Dogs on the water... show us your dog

Does it have to be a Grady? Sonny at 4 mos. last Summer in his favorite spot on our old restored Century. He'd stand on the motorbox and whine until I put him here.

I Guess This is Why We Do It...

Excellent tip, thank you. Was too focused on not hitting anything while leaving the marina to think about lines, etc.:) Thinking about it, I believe the Captain I'm using did that later.

Thanks. We were actually looking for a 307, we know folks who have and love theirs, but there were none available that met our parameters (location, hours, condition, etc.)...so it came down to this and a Pursuit 295 and we much preferred this.
