    Navigation lights troubleshooting

Just an update: I was able to find the wires coming out of the harness. Hardwired them and all is good, lights are working as they should. Thanks for the help

So the black grounds both the gunnel and bow lights. I have the green grounds for the fuel fill hooked up. Wondering what the green is for in this connector. Is there an additional fuel fill ground? Thanks

    Navigation lights troubleshooting

Gunnel lights stopped working as well, I haven't checked instrument lights. I had some rewiring done so I assume that's when it happened.. I'll have to dig into the boat and see what I can find

If you look at my above post, should this connector have wires running on the opposite of the plug? It seems like they just terminate there

There are no wires on the other side of this plug, I assume they should be there

Mine are set up with red on the portside and green on the starboard side, both separate lens. They both have a black and a grey wire running to them and they wiring goes back to this connector

    Electrical issue

Thanks for the reply Yes, the memory fuse holder is connected to the stereo. I didn't think that those fuses would have any impact on the engine getting power so maybe it was a coincidence or as you said the shuffling around of wires. I did try switching the batteries via the selector with no...

    Electrical issue

I have a 1999 GW Fisherman 222 and noticed what seems to be an electrical issue. Today we were preparing to leave the sandbar, started the engine, turned on the electronics and the engine suddenly died. Went to restart it and noticed I had no power to the gauges and no power to the engine. The...

    Keel rash- thoughts?

Thanks for the reply. I'm liking the idea of white bottom paint.

    Keel rash- thoughts?

I'm not really interested in bottom painting as this boat will not remain in the water after use. The area where the gel coat has wore exposing the fiberglass is smooth and even with the surrounding gel coat. If I apply epoxy to the area, sand and reapply gel coat would it likely be an uneven area?
