My buddy has a 2003 33 express with twin 350suzuki dual prop and it goes 52mph. I know when we go to my cabin in his boat it’s 33 miles from the dock he cruises at 35 mph and it burns about 23-25 gallons if it’s not to bad of sea conditions.

Wonder why Suzuki has a 350 dual prop that is way better then the Yamaha I would discontinue the motor after years of probs like Yamaha did. Who puts out a motor you have to change flywheels on every 80-100 hours just don’t make sense to me. I would never buy a motor that starts with a flaw out...

People really seem to be scared to put 50 more horse power then it says. The motors don’t weight anymore maybe 18lbs from 250 to 300’s. I had no prob getting insurance but I’m in Canada so maybe it’s earlier.

I think your fine with the 300,s I put them on my 265 express and it’s holding up nicely and my buddy with a 2003 33 express went from 300 Suzuki’s to dual prop 350’s and still no issue at all.

Hey skunk at 32.5 miles an hour I’m burning 66 litres an hour or about 17 gal can you tell me if thats about what your is?

The guy before me did mine and put it on the outside of the tank and it works good but if it’s not full enough it won’t pick up but long as it’s 1/2 or more full it pumps out. I looked at putting it back into the tank but it’s a fucken gross job dealing with the inside of that tank.

When you troll do you guys use one engine or two ? I found when I tried only one it was always wondering on me but if I used both big motors to troll it was way better but still wanted to wonder a bit since I only troll for salmon and fish halibut off Vancouver island at 2.3-2.7 mph

Not sure why everyone says it’s scary over 40mph I put twin 300’s last year on mine and at 48-52 mph it feels awesome.

I do agree with tilewave about the aux tank first and run the boat quicker in rough water at 35-40mph and it rides way better in a 3’-4’ chop.
