has anybody added a 3rd battery on a '87 gulf stream..
looking to add one and not much room in the transom, 2 oil tanks and 2 batteries already..
it has a bracket, so my transom is solid
I just did the port side on my 87 gulf stream. the hardest part was getting the old stuff out in one piece so I could use them as templates.
I went with seaboard, cost a lot less than starboard. I went with the Sea Foam color, it almost matches the grady gel coat.

I use a product called "buff Magic" on my 87 hull and brings the shine back to the old hull, getting wax to stay on for any length of time is the tough part, the sun just burns it off...

I inquired in the fall about one for my 1987 gulf stream and was quoted about $1500 installed by the local dealer..
not sure if an aftermarket version is better
anybody do research on the differences between seaboard and startboard.
I am looking to replace my bulk heads as a winter project..
