    Kicker motor size for Gulfstream?

    What do you recommend using to push a twin screw Gulfstream to reach proper salmon trolling speeds? I'm hoping to get by with a Yamaha T9.9 XL shaft, but wasn't sure it would push it appropriately? Anyone have a good fixed bracket recommendation as well? Thanks!

    I am in the process of putting in new electronics. Went with the Raymarine eS78 with WiFi quantum radar dome and chirp transducer. I replaced the stock acrylic door with a piece of black starboard and surface mounted the head unit.
