    Finished!

After a long but enjoyable process the detailing is finally completed. Compounding, with areas of wet sanding has bought back to original gelcoat colour. Replaced all decals and hullstripes. The ceramic coat has given it a great gloss and hopefully long term protection, considering the boat is...

    Cost of Ownership Question

NO! NO! NO! That's not how you do it. You buy the boat you spend what you need to keep the boat. You never work out the annual cost of ownership. That will leave you in a deep, deep depression. If you are foolish enough to work it out never, never tell your partner.

With the discontinuation of the 228 does anybody know from past experience how long parts will be available? I have plans to add a bow pulpit to my 228 but I was going to wait until after an electronics upgrade, autopilot and auxiliary fuel tank. May be I should be moving the pulpit up the...

    228 livewell question

If you are transporting live bait any distance you need some water circulation to keep them alive. I’m wondering how the water is getting into the bilge from the live bait tank. Under the transom seats? Will check it out next time I’m at the boat.
