Repair complete, FWIW... Ground smooth, used 1/2" starboard (1" x 3"), inserted a 1/4" tee nut, and epoxied into the seat base... Used JB Weld (tan) instead of MarineTex... Seems pretty solid - we'll see if it holds up... Pompanette indicated that they can send me a new set of pop pins...
