    Fisherman 222 Scuppers

I tried those ping pong ball jobs and ended up taking them off. I have a 228G and had to move my gas tank forward to the cuddy door so my scuppers would work right. They were under the water and wouldn't drain properly. It had too much weight in the back of the boat!!! All work down as per...

    Bilge pump fuse size ???

Jimmy, they are the original pumps. The one I can see is four foot from my reach and can't read what it says. I checked them out on the West Marine sight and looks like one of the biggest ones draw 6 amps. So I think I am going with a 7 amp fuse in my blue seas fuse box. The wires look like...

    Bilge pump fuse size ???

In sorting out my wiring I opened two in line fuse holders that I am quite sure goes to the builge pumps. While taking the holders apart the glass fuse broke and I can't tell what amp the fuse was. I have installed a new fuse panel and would like to put the proper size fuse in for them.

    Fuse Holder Question

Personally I would get rid of every in line fuse holder that I could and use a fuse panel type holder. Also I would use an electrical grease on all connections and fuses.

    Absolute Best Gelcoat Restore Products/Techniques???

Talking about hard to get at spots. I bought a air buffer, it has 3' foam pads and it does one hell of a good job on those hard to get to places. I think I only gave around $80.00 for the buffer, It came in a kit with extra pads and a nice carrying box.

    Wiring on a 1997 228G

John, that grease you were talking about, I'm having my purchasing guy try to get some for a few of us to try out. We will have to be careful as I see it is conductive and the product that we use isn't. I sure they will both have their place. We do a lot of wiring on equipment and remote control...

    Wiring on a 1997 228G
