That's exactly what I was thinking of doing! The thing is if I want to go to let's say an island with my kids to explore, pulling it behind the boat is a little unwieldy, especially because we are speed demons. Did u ever try to fit it on the bow or anywhere else? Thanks a lot.

After realizing the throttle is very difficult to move on my 2003 282 Grady, I saw in my manual that you can adjust something is the actual throttle. When I attempted to take the cover of the throttle off it proved to be very difficult. Any suggestions? Am I doing something wrong? Let me know...

Yes, the main tank is selected. And I opened up the spot in the deck where the wires involving the tank level are and don't know where to start. They do look a little corroded, but I'm not sure. As far as the trim tab indicator, I'll try to find that. Thank you.

On my 2003 sailfish, I've noticed just this season that a few of my gauges are off. For instance, my gas tank indicator is always blinking even after I filled the tank up. Also, I have twin F225s and the trim indicator on the left engine doesn't respond. What steps should I take? Thanks.

We actually just had basically the same problem. The throttle just got really tight, but eventually loosened itself out. I'm just surprised a boat with 2003 engines would be having the same problem. It's almost dangerous when trying to navigate into slips.

We paint the entire bottom of the boat every year. I would recommend that, just to avoid a patchy mess. That's just my opinion though.

I appreciate it, but the filter I change is that one that's actually within the pump. There just must be a lot of crud in the tank. Would bleach get rid of all that? Thanks.

We finally got a chance to cleaning up our new 2003 282 Sailfish, and are ready for the season to start.

After running the sinks in the boat the water pressure slowly decreases then stops. I continue to change out the filter that's located underneath the helm (got to it through a spot in the cabin located underneath the drivers seat) , but it just continues to get clogged. What do I do?? Thank you.
