    The horn cover plate was cheep plastic and the manufacture was ITC ('Challenger" model). They don't make this style anymore. Mine was trashed along with the horn... i pulled it all out and haven't fixed it yet but my plan is to make my own cover and use some old but good horns i have laying...

    Wheel Nut Size for 265 Express

    you can find out the size with a set of calipers or a die. My 192 has a 1/2", 20 pitch i think, i got a nut for my new wheel on ebay. If you have a 5/8" i have a nice stainless nut if you need it. Link to the one i got and the one i have looks just like it...

    I just did exactly what you are about to and i also looked at the boat you just bought... congrats! I removed the stripes before i did any wet sanding or buffing. note,I used up two eraser wheels removing the stripes...

As for the cover on your 190 I would have to say some plastic shop if it has bends in it or if not you can just go to Lowes or Home Depot and get some sheet of clear plastic and cut to fit... if...

    thanks, here is a test fit... need to remove the old sealant and reseal it. Decided not to fully polish and went with a fine brushed look.

    Thanks for the info... that helps a bit... still wondering if anyone on this site has a 192 with ski pylon. I was thinking of building one... If i do i might make it a bit taller i just wonder about the forces it can handle. I have thought about a tower/hardtop with rope attachment... i have yet...

    Great looking boat... to me i think this will appeal to rich playboys that want a day cruiser with the possibility of a one night stand... it's also nice that the head is not in the same room as the lounge cabin. That way your lady friend can freshen up on her own. :)

    thanks for that... i had the boat surveyed and he said there was no evidence of water inside the hull. The boat has always been trailerd also, i just noticed that the sealer was pulling away from everything. The guy i bought it from also kept a cover on it... it's under a waterproof cover now.

    I have marinetex spots all over my boat. I want to know if there is a product that i can closely match the color of the original gelcoat after i sand down the spots. I still need to buff the boat. Also wondering if i need to reseal the ends on the transom. i know... have ordered new striping...

    ski Pylon, who has one?

    All the photos i see it looks low, looks like the rope would rub on the top cover of the motor. For now i bought a bridle... even that seems to be a bit short if the skier pulls far outside the wake it looks like it will rest the cable on the back side of the motor.
