    336 Canyon

you could sleep 2 but it would be "cozy"- what also works is, you can put a bean bag on the console floor or put one of the cushions from the front seat or air mattress on console floor- also, if weather is good, put the insert between the two bow seats (turns it into a full platform in the bow)...

    336 Canyon

One additional comment, you mention having kids (depending on their age) - the shower, hot water, AC, and power to run personal electronics etc and bunk inside a 336 or 366 would come in handy for when kids get bored and give them a hang out (much like you get with an express boat!

    336 Canyon

Complicated question. I guess it depends what you want to use the boat for and what trade off's you can live with (assuming no boat is absolutley perfect. I had a 29 Southport and moved to a 336 Canyon. I looked at many boats before the move and seriously considered YF, Sea Vee, Bahama and GW...

Where to mount 2 under water lights 86 offshore

great suggestions- the 5200 is painted- bottom paint- since its below water, not much sun. I agree, i could have/should fiberglassed them- i wasn't so concerned about making it water tight for the first mount, my concern was mainly ( from transom mounted transducer experience- when the fail...

Where to mount 2 under water lights 86 offshore

I have a 336 Canyon and didn't want to drill holes below the waterline. I had fiberglass "blocks" made and each block had a channel cut into the back for the wire to go up towards the top of the transom. I attached the lights to the blocks and screwed the blocks to the boat. I ran the wire out...

    Bow Thruster blade missing

You are welcome. I am not done yet. I went down to put new prop on and noticed that a piece of the screw that holds the zinc on, is still stuck in shaft. Going to call them and see what options I have to replace shaft. I might try drilling it out but since its SS, and is fairly small screw, I...

    Bow Thruster blade missing

took the blade off yesterday- learned a good lesson- I will take it off every year. I have had the boat two seasons, not sure when zinc had been changed last ( it looked to be in good shape, if the prop blade had not broke, i don't think I would have touched it) . Anyway, the screw holding the...

    Bow Thruster blade missing

happened to look at my bow thruster yesterday while waxing my boat (336 Grady Canyon 2008) and noticed what a blade missing from the propeller also noticed what appeared to be a zinc as part of the cap on the thruster. I am going to look through my manuals today and try to identify the...

    336 Canyon- what length outriggers

    thanks guys!
  15. B

OK, I have to tell the truth!

I agree, I think most /all separation is caused by water/moisture intrusion. I have had gas sitting in gas cans(snow blower, etc) in the back yard for two years and no separation. None the less, I treat my boat fuel all year round with Stabile and startron.

Question for New York & New Jersey boaters

I was looking at your question again. I am not sure about the Albany area but the lower Hudson a river, jersey shore boating and beaches actually start to slow down ( particularly on weekdays) in mid August. Between college starting and high school sports, our beach area is deserted on weekdays...
