Health issues require me to add a electric winch to my trailer. What methods other than the permanent installation from the tow vehicles battery do you like? Such as battery on trailer or a removal wiring harness.

Got harness changed. Not too bad of a job. Recommend taking pictures under cowling and of flex conduit before removal. Disconnected flex conduit at both ends, battery cables, fuel line and wiring harness. Pulled old harness with pulling wire attached into boat. Pulled new back to engine and...

Thanks, I thought so. Any tricks to snaking it through the ENGINE FLEX CONDUIT harness? Should I start the install from the stern, going fwd and aft or pull entire harness from fwd (helm) to engine?

Squirrel damage to wiring harness. I see disconnect on Throttle end but where does engine end connect/disconnect. On engine? I havent opened cowling yet. Looking for anyone with experience.
