Tucker - the hatches wont come up unless I were to remove the bench seat and tackle center. I could still re-caulk the pie plate trim though, which I intend to do. As far as cleaning the sending units, are you actually unscrewing and lifting out the sending units to clean them?

Dennis, thanks for the info. Seems very logical! New project for the weekend! Ive got the aft bilge nice and clean, but unfortunately always a little standing water left in there due to the limitations of the bilge pump. Maybe I'll look into one of those dry bilge systems.

Thanks Ron. I did read that as well. Unfortunately I'm the 2nd owner and I dont think the original owner in the 15 years he owned the boat ever rinsed them. Better late than never, I just need to figure out how to get all the sludge off in a safe way. I'll for sure use T-9 though...cant beat...

Cant pass up a great deal, and am no where near my boat to take accurate measurements. Wondering if anyone has tried this yet? I know it will be tight.

I have a 2000 306, which was repowered with twin 4.2L F250's. I can plane on one engine while dragging the other in the water...and do close to 18kts, with 150 gallons of fuel on board. You'll have no problem with 300's, not to mention dragging one engine is not the preferred method for...

My F250 4.2L are also 25" wide. They are mechanically the same engine as the F300 aside from differences in the ECM. Same physical dimensions.
