    Bimini 306 Repower-install question

We re-powered our 306 with 4.2L F250's a few years back. I believe they are the exact same size as the F300's. We did not re-drill and used the existing holes instead. Our local dealer, Pompano Beach Marine Center (Big Grady dealer) said that they never re-drill for the re-power and always...

Bow Pulpit Repair Project - Crushed Fore-deck Reinforcement

When I purchased my new to me 306, the deck under the bow pulpit had been crushed from excessive force on the pulpit via anchoring by the previous owner. I am finally getting around to the repair now that the weather has cooled down a bit. Below are pictures of my progress to date...I hope to...

    Bimini 306 Repower

Another note...I saw a 2002 306 at the dock yesterday, re-powered with Verado 300's. Looked good. Didn't see the owner or I would've asked about performance. Not sure of the Verado 300 weight, but might be over Grady spec.

    Bimini 306 Repower

I have a 2000 306, repowered with the 4.2L Yamaha F250's. Cruise is 29 mph @ 1.5mpg. WOT (5900 rpms) is 44-45 depending on load @ 0.8mpg. These specs are with bottom paint. Before painting, cruise was closer to 31 and top end was closer to 46-47. Tons of torque and seems to be adequately...

Re: Something stuck behind tackle center drawers?? - SOLVED Thanks everyone for the tips. For my year, 2000, there is no way to remove the drawers, as I found out, without removing the entire cabinet assembly. This fortunately, is not very hard to do. The trim ring around the cabinet is...

Livewell Pump Running with Switch Off??? - SOLVED

Re: Livewell Pump Running with Switch Off??? I like that idea...didnt think of it at the time. Unfortunately, my washdown pump took a crap on my a few days ago too....I think the pressure cutoff switch is faulty, as the pump is only working intermittently.

Something stuck behind tackle center drawers??-SOLVED

Re: Something stuck behind tackle center drawers?? Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately, mine must be installed differently. There is no catch or latch to turn for drawer removal. So far, I have not figured out how to get behind them. I wonder if the drawers were installed at the factory...

Can I install transom bench seat in Bimini 306

I have a 2000 Bimini 306 that was not ordered with the optional folding transom seat. If I can source an OEM folding seat, is it possible to install, or was the vertical mounting surface beefed up with more glass or aluminum backing plates at the factory if the option had been ordered?

On the port side of my tackle center in a 2000 306, I have a cabinet door, with 3 poly drawers behind it. Only 5000RPM at WOT with new F250's!!

Thanks everyone for the feedback! I called Grady and they did confirm I should be running 15 3/4 Diameter by 15 pitch props. Seems as though the SDS props in this size are hard to come by and back-ordered until October! I guess I'll try ebay.
