Also all controll's and factory gauges are new. I realise that if i decide to keep the boat It will eventually need the transome replaced one day . The gas tank is origional and that will also need replaced. Full tank of gas when purchased.

Actually i'm refering to the square or rectangular peice that the round plate snaps into .. This rectangle peice is cauked into the splash well.. Any help would be greatly appreciated... Thanks jmbadge...

1989 overnighter Thanks for the reply, all good stuff. I purchased the boat at an awsome price I am somewhat knowlegable of the issues that may come up. I think the main consirn would be the transome and gas tank. the transome looks fine with no cracks or anything that would indicate weekness...
