    I replaced a 125 tank on a 25 sailfish. Make sure tank is near empty or empty. Came out easily by myself.

    Reduce to a single from twins

    i made that switch in the spring. Went from twin 07 200 etecs to a single 300 G2 . there were no issues on the installation. 25 sailfish with cut out transom . its a better balanced boat with all the weight gone from the back of the boat. gets up on plan easily . sweet spot is 4650/4700 at 27mph...

    ok the wait is over. the new motor G2 300 hp Evinrude installation is complete and did a test run today. wot around 5600 to 5700 at 37 mph for 1.4 to 1.5 . at 4500 rpm at 31 mph for 2.4 to 2.5 . boat holds 200 gals and had about 100 onboard with 2 persons onboard. can watch a nice vidio on...

    Hey Guys. I am re powering my 25 sailfish to a single 300 Evinrude G2. should be ready to go in March.I plan on posting the results of the sea trial on my post from the fall .     yep. my dealer has the same setup . 23 gulphstream with the 300 G2. are you getting the same numbers 4200 rpm 29 mph at 2.5 mpg? gw 25 posted some numbers for a 25 sailfish which is a little less than the 23 is getting. i can diffently live with 3800 to 4100 at 25mph at 2,0 mpg and a 10 year...

    update on this repower. sold the twin 200 etecs and put a down payment on a 2018 300 G2. should be ready for the sea trial some time in April. will post pictures and comments during the repower when they start in march 2018
