Just got back from boat show and I am trying to rationalize paying a lot more for a Gulfstream than a 2310 Parker. Parker is more bare bones and has less beam, but it seems to be a darn nice boat. Is the Gulfstream worth the extra $$ and why? Thanks
As stated elsewhere I am looking at a Gulfstream to replace my 208 adventure. I hopped aboard one in the showroom and it does seem wider and a bit bigger and i like the motor placement.
In the water will I see much more stability and a much better ride?? thanks
You guessed it--Meachum creek on the Rapahanock. I do have a lift and boathouse. I just wanted the bigger boat for more stability and to take more folks out. In truth, I hardly even go out to the Bay.
With the boat shows coming up I was wondering what is a good price for a Gulfstream with twin 150s. My dealer has a single engine GS but from reading here that does not seem to be the way to go Thanks. PS If price is discussion is prohibited here I apologize.
Bought a river house last yr and for the first time at age 51 bought a boat--a GW 2001 208. All my buddies said "just wait, you will want a bigger boat". I said no way. Now after a season I love the 208 but I have a large family and it would be nice to have something bigger.
The boat shows...
